Company History
Since its founding in 1974, The Top In Sound, Inc. has been committed to
achieving sound reinforcement excellence while maintaining design sensitivity,
budget consciousness, and cooperative interaction with the owners and users.
Patrick Topolsky, president and founder of The Top In Sound, Inc. was featured
in Singing News Magazine - Industry Update. He also has been awarded numerous RIAA Certified Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum Awards for his work with gospel
music videos. Topolsky is a native of Belpre, Ohio and a 1972 graduate of Belpre
High School. As a student Topolsky started a gospel singing group. "We went to
buy sound equipment, and nobody knew what kind of equipment a gospel group
needed," explains Topolsky. By the time he arrived at Anderson University
(Anderson, IN), he knew how to equip singing groups and word got around. One of
his first business calls came from Danny Gaither wanting to purchase equipment
for the Bill Gaither Trio. "From then on, I was getting lots of calls," recalls
Topolsky.
The gospel singing groups that traveled with sound systems designed by The Top
In Sound, Inc. took state of the art sound into churches. The churches began to
experience the advantage of using quality equipment, and called on The Top In
Sound, Inc. to design and install permanent systems in their sanctuaries.
Today, The Top In Sound, Inc., located in Anderson, Indiana, designs, installs
and maintains sound equipment in the United States and Canada. The Top In Sound,
Inc. consultants have extensive training in sound reinforcement and work with
the best professional equipment available. The project team takes the
responsibility to complete every project to the clients' satisfaction.
The Top In Sound, Inc. has over 2,000 church sound system installations. The
many Gospel Groups that have trusted The Top In Sound, Inc. is a who's who of
Gospel Music that includes Doug Oldham, Blackwood Brothers, Bill Gaither Trio,
Gold City, Sandi Patti, Danny Gaither, Talleys, Cathedral Quartet, Phil Cross &
Poet Voices, Hoppers, Tony Gore, Martins, Perfect Heart, Speer Family, Greater
Vision and Old Friends Quartet.
